Born & Raised in INGLEWOOD, 1st generation with roots from Durango and Sinaloa, Mexico.
My story is about a little Mexican girl who grew up in the hood and what she did with it. Growing up w/ the pressure of being 1st gen, I didn’t always know I wanted to be a stylist because I didn’t know it was a career. Fashion has always been a part of my life, and it started from playing dress up. Most of my clothes were hand me downs growing up, cycled through my 2 older sisters and primas. I was always so excited to be the new owner of something I’d wear my way (hence my love for thrifting). La Cultura is what defines my style and where I turn for inspiration for my art. Managing hair salons and working in retail Visual Merchandising, has allowed me to set up my own brand focused on aesthetically driven, visual storytelling. I created Chingona Lifestyle para Chingonas of all shades of Brown. Every piece is curated with love and intention. Keep an eye out for the next drop* . .
